The DUO Tower was designed to meet Singapore’s Building & Construction Authority requirements regarding environment and sustainability. The interior window covering solution needed to be in line with these requirements. Apart from offering perfect light and heat management, the window coverings needed to blend in with the facades.
The Coulisse solution consist of a unique two-colored screen with an openness of 5%. On the window-side, the screen matches the dark color of the façade of the DUO tower, while the color on the inside matches the interior. The DUO Tower won the MIPIM Asia Award for Best Futura Project and a BCA Green Mark Award.
